The life of a farmer - Paragraph

I am a farmer, I am Bengali pride.

I am a farmer, farming is my religion.

A farmer is one who is engaged in agricultural work and produces crops. A farmer cultivates crops as well as rears domestic animals - birds at home. Since ancient times till now a farmer has been leading his life through agricultural profession. Bangladesh is a major agricultural country and 80 percent of the people of this country earn their livelihood by doing agricultural work. A farmer has very little land of his own, so he takes other people's land as barge or he is engaged in the production of crops by laboring on other people's land.

But a farmer means one who has his own accumulation and who cultivates his own land and he who has no land of his own is known as farm laborer or Kamila. But in our country a farmer is called a farmer since he has no land. He wakes up every morning and rushes to the field with cow and plow or he has hashab, da, spade etc. in hand to work in the field. He works tirelessly in the fields from morning to evening, sometimes comes home at noon and sometimes never comes back.

A farmer's dining area is not his dining table, he eats his daily meals in the midst of cultivated land. He produces rice, vegetables, fish, meat, eggs for the people but he eats sitting in the field and this is the daily life of a farmer in Bengal.

A farmer's life is very painful, but his eyes light up with a smile when the crops grow in his house. When his yard is filled with the sweet smell of ripening crops and when he gathers his harvest in the round. Many people in Bangladesh are involved in agriculture so for national development we should teach our farmers scientific methods of farming then the condition of our farmers will improve.
